Here you will absolutely discover “the Mediterranean as it once was”. On the island there are still present the remains of the ancient village Issa, first urban settlement in Croatia. You may be interested in visiting the remains of the Roman terms, the city museum or just take a nice walk while enjoying the view of the beautiful “Villa Rustica” located along the shore. We will show you many attractions to explore, such as the Renaissance cathedral with its original tower, the Europe's oldest community theater, the Franciscan monastery, the Benedictine monastery (famous for the hand made lace that is enrolled on the list of World Heritage protected by UNESCO), the Spanjola fortress which rises high above the city and many more. Hvar is also famous for its many restaurants and for great night clubs and bars. Overnight stay in Hvar.
Hvar - Korcula
Before breakfast we will sail away to Korcula, the birthplace of the famous explorer and adventurer Marco Polo. Surrounded by medieval walls, Korcula resembles a miniature Dubrovnik and it will wow you with its legends, tales and monuments. Today, Korcula is the only place in the world where the Medieval Spanish knight’s battle-ceremony is still performed, under the name of "Moreška”. Upon arrival you can enjoy in a scenic drive through the streets of the old city built in the shape of a fish bone.
