ZAGREB
Breakfast. Guided tour of the Croatian capital. Zagreb has several beautiful churches in Gothic and Baroque style, such as St. Stephen's Cathedral and the Church of St. Mark. Free time. Afternoon dedicated to visit the amazing green Horseshoe in the center of Zagreb, which is a continuation of parks in the heart of the neo-Baroque part of the city. Dinner and overnight stay.
ZAGREB - LJUBLJANA
Breakfast. Morning departure to Slovenia. Slovenia is the third greenest country in Europe, you will be undoubtedly surprised with many of its beautiful landscapes. Arrival to Slovenian capital, Ljubljana. The city is located midway between the Julian Alps and the Mediterranean Sea. Visit of Ljubljana with a local guide, to discover the rich influence of the Habsburg Empire marked upon this charming capital. Free afternoon to visit the medieval castle in Ljubljana. Traditional dinner to try some of the typical Slovenian dishes. Overnight stay.
LJUBLJANA - BLED - (POSTOJNA) - OPATIJA
Breakfast. Departure to Bled to visit this enchanted small town. Bled is the natural pearl of Slovenia, dominated by the medieval castle and a large lake, which has the only natural island in Slovenia. The island has a baroque church built on the base of a pre-Romanesque chapel. We will take a boat trip to the island and thus get to know the legend that this island hides among its precious natural treasure. Departure to Opatija. Overnight stay in the region of Opatija.
*Optional visit of the ancient caves of Postojna, with wonderful stalactites and stalagmites. Guided tour of the cave.
OPATIJA
Breakfast. Opatija is considered the "Croatian Monte Carlo”, charming town on the Adriatic coast, symbol of the Austro-Hungarian Empire era in Croatia. Today we will walk in the shoes of the kings and queens that had chosen Opatija as the exclusive residence for their vacations. You will visit Villa Angiolina, the luxurious mansion with tropical gardens right in front of the coast and also you can try some delicious Viennese pastries in one of the bars. In the afternoon, we recommend the walk along famous boulevard that connects various Adriatic villages. Accommodation.
OPATIJA - PULA - ROVINJ
Breakfast. Free day to enjoy yourself on the beach or treat yourself with wellness in the hotel. Opatija is known for its recreational and spa centers. During the night it’s recommended to go to some of the live concerts on the terrace in front of the sea. Accommodation.
*Optional full day excursion: boat trip or visit to the peninsula of Istria, known also as “new Toscana”: includes the city of Pula with its big amphitheater and Roman monuments and the city of Rovinj, known also as “little Venice”.
OPATIJA - NP PLITVICE LAKES - ZAGREB
Breakfast. Departure to Croatian capital, Zagreb and free time in the city. Dinner in traditional restaurant, with live music, to enjoy some of typical dishes of this region. Overnight stay in Zagreb.
*Optional excursion: National Park Plitvice Lakes, Croatia's green pearl. This natural treasure has 16 lakes which are connected by more than 90 waterfalls and cascades. It is on the list of World Heritage Sites protected by UNESCO.
